Description
Mirabello Bay is the jewel of Eastern Crete. Even the name, like a song, speaks for itself. The excursion begins with a walk through the picturesque town of Agios Nikolaos, where you can stroll through the ancient narrow streets, or have a cup of Greek coffee on the shores of the lake Voulismeni, which is located in the very heart of the town.
Then, we will visit the small but very famous village of Elounda, where the ship leaves for the island of Spinalonga. Our guides will tell you about its important role in history of Crete, and why it is also called “The island of tears” and much more. On the island, you are going to have free time to stroll around. On our way back on the boat, we are having a stop on the beach “Kolokytha”, where you can enjoy swimming and a BBQ lunch.
